JFE lecture series for development of steel structure engineers in NUCE
On September 12, the opening ceremony of the lecture program 'JFE lecture series for development of steel structure engineers in NUCE' was held at the National University of Civil Engineering (NUCE).
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Isao Fukushima, General Director of JFE Vietnam Steel Corporate expressed “we are honored to cooperate with NUCE. In recent years, this cooperation has achieved certain results. I would like to express my joy to be here to speak at the opening event. This is the 4th time that JFE Steel Corporate cooperates with NUCE to organize a meaningful event in which there are a lot of valuable knowledge focused mainly on young Vietnamese engineers of NUCE. I hope, after this course, young students will gain a lot of useful knowledge and create a foundation for their future careers”.
Responding to Mr. Isao Fukushima meaningful speech, Assoc. Prof. Pham Thanh Tung, Vice Dean of NUCE emphasized that, it is so good for the participants in this course because this is a good opportunity to cultivate knowledge and exchange experience on important topic. Thanks to the close cooperation between NUCE and JFE Steel of Japan, students are able to contact one of the leading corporations in Japan on steel technology. This Corporate made many achievements in steel structure construction and willing to share experiences for Vietnam. This training course is extremely useful and NUCE will continue to make every effort to bring out the best for the students.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Takuya Murakami, Head of Steel Research, JFE Steel Corporation, has briefly introduced the main contents of this training course. He emphasized that, this year there are many lectures focused on introducing modern technologies with special lectures. Japanese experts will give lectures on the application of steel structure in practical infrastructure. After the opening ceremony, the first session of the lecture series was started with the excitement of the participants.
